MMM Dolomites

In the heart of the Dolomites, between Pieve di Cadore and Cortina d’Ampezzo, lies the Monte Rite (2181m). From its summit plateau, 360° views open up to the most spectacular Dolomite peaks, such as Monte Schiara, Monte Agnèr, or Monte Civetta, Marmolada. So, it’s not very surprising that the MMM Dolomites concerns itself with the topic of rocks. The museum is dedicated to the history of the development of the Dolomites, told by those explorers and climbers who have written alpine history through their discoveries and first ascents. With the guide, users can go on a journey of discovery in the Museum, while Reinhold Messner tells thrilling stories about the topic of rock.
